Veteran actor Shashi Kapoor passed away yesterday at the age of 79. From the kids to the oldies, everyone would agree that he was one of the most handsome actors of all time. Not only just pretty face but he was an epitome of talent as well. We have seen his wonderful performance in movies like Kalyug, Deewar, Jab jab phol khile, Kabhi Kabhi, Namak Halal, etc.
He has appeared in 116 films so far. He was honoured with Padma Bhushan in 2011. He was also bestowed with Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 2015. Over the years his contribution to cinema has been remarkable as well as memorable.
He was admitted to Kokilaben Ambani Hospital on Sunday night for chest infection treatment. He later passed away on Monday around 4pm. He is survived by daughter Sanjana Kapoor and sons Kunal and Karan. Not only Bollywood, but people from all the other fields have shared their condolences on the loss of such a legendary actor.
