The MeToo movement is continuing to take its rounds and many buried secrets are being unearthed each day. Many actresses stood up and raised their voices to expose the ones who sexually harassed them at some point in life. While we are expecting many more models/actresses to come up and reveal the true faces of sexual offenders, Saqib Saleem has surprised the B-Town with his own experience.
Huma Qureshi’s brother, Saqib, is the first male to have come up with the Me Too Movement.
Saqib revealed that he was sexually abused by a man when he was 21 years old. This is how the actor narrated the event:
I don’t want to take names, but when I started out as an actor. I was only 21 years old. There was a man who tried to assault me. He tried to put his hand in my pants. When it happened with me, I whacked the guy and I told him to mind his own f***ing business and I left. I was 21, and of course, it scared me, but I moved on. I’m sure that everyone’s different and an incident such as this must affect different people differently.
Talking about the #MeToo stories, the Hawaa Hawaai star said, “These stories are heartbreaking and sexual offenders are horrible people.”
