We all know how intense IPL gets during the season. Eight teams fighting it out for the ultimate glory on the pitch. Just a few days ago, we saw another clash between a few IPL teams, however, it was off the pitch.
Here’s what happened
It all began with Hardik Pandya’s tweet where the Mumbai Indians allrounder posted a picture of himself along with his brother Krunal Pandya and teammate Kieron Pollard.
“I had to hold my phone pretty high to fit Big Polly into the frame. Happy to see you again my brother,” tweeted Hardik.

The Mumbai Indians picked it from there.

MI Twitter handle retweeted Hardik Pandya’s post and wrote: “Find a better allrounder trio. We will wait. Then came Sunrisers Hyderabad to take the banter a step further. SRH tweeted, “The wait is over”. With a picture of their all-rounder trio, Mohammad Nabi, Rashid Khan and Shakib Al Hasan.
While the banter between Sunrisers and Mumbai Indians was on, reigning champions Chennai Super Kings took it another level by sharing a picture of Dhoni cloned into three. Sending out an indirect but clear message that the ‘Thala’ alone is equivalent to three.

That wasn’t the end. However, Mumbai Indians had no reply for Chennai but they took a dig at Sunrisers. MI shared a picture of their all three IPL trophies along with tweeting, “The wait goes on”.
Little did Hardik know about how viral his picture would end up to be.
