The most awaited cinematic experience of the decade has come and gone and while we are grateful, we cannot help being nostalgic for the awesome movie that was Infinity War.

And while we totally understand the hangover, Marvel plans to provide a fitting antidote by releasing some kickass movies.

Here’s everything you need to know:

Ant-Man and the Wasp | July 2018

A sequel to 2015’s Ant-Man, here the Ant-Man and the Wasp team up again for a mission. This one is set between Captain America: Civil War and Avenger’s Infinity War. We see the Ant-Man is under house arrest and trying to juggle between being a father and a superhero.

Captain Marvel | 2019

Following the story of Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel, the movie is set in the 1990s. It is an origin story of sorts on how she becomes a superhero when earth gets caught up in an intergalactic war. It is Marvel’s first female superhero lead movie and we’re excited to see if it can match up with Wonder Woman.

Here’s the first look:

Untitled Avengers: Infinity War Sequel | 2019

Often referred to as Avengers 4, this one will be a direct sequel to Infinity Wars. The Russo brothers will be directing this one as well and seeing the release date so close to the first one, it was probably filmed back-to-back with Infinity War.

Untitled Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel | July 2019

Again, not much is known about the plot or where it’ll fit in the overall timeline of the MCU, we do know that Tom Holland and everyone’s favourite version of the webslinger is coming back to a theatre screen near you. Reports say Spiderman may be facing off against a female threat this time.

Here’s a first look:

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 | Release Date: Unknown

Touted to be an “epic conclusion” to what began in 2014, this may be Chris Pratt’s last outing as Star-Lord / Peter Quill. With plans to further expand that universe on what cosmic characters to focus on, Gamora may take centre stage in this outing.

Here are some interesting fan theories:

Ant-Man 3 |   Release Date: Unknown

Though the studio wasn’t sure how Ant-Man would be received, it did well at the box office. With the second one only months away from release, reports will they, won’t they complete a trilogy is still up for debate it seems.

Doctor Doom | Release Date: Unknown

Though 3 Fantastic 4 movies exist, none of them have really taken off as the studio would have hoped. It is being teased though that a new movie is in the works that will follow one of its most iconic villains – Doctor Doom. Though, this in no way signals another Fantastic 4 reboot, let’s hope Doctor Doom sees a better run

Silver and Black | Release Date: Unknown

MCU is working hard on providing female protagonists after the emergence of Wonder Woman. With a Black Cat and Silver Sable (both from the Spiderman universe) team up in the works, they may just get it. An ally and an enemy of Spiderman, Silver Sable has never been portrayed on the screen before. Though recent reports suggest it has been put on hold indefinitely.

The Dark Phoenix follows Jean Grey and how destructive her powers truly can be. We saw a glimpse of this in X2 and then again in X-Men: Apocalypse. It will bring back the A-list actors and Jessica Chastain will be seen in the movie as well. Apparently this will wrap up the X men series s was started by Fox. While there’s some credit that be mutants along with Deadpool is here to stay, the X men series as we know it will end with this movie.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse | December 2018

An animated movie following the adventures of Miles Morales aka Spiderman, this one is made keeping the comic book feel in mind. Going by the trailer, this will be one epic movie!

The New Mutants | February 2019

A horror film in the X-Men universe? Doesn’t sound like something that could work, but don’t pass judgements yet. Five young mutants, discovering their powers, trying to save themselves. Creepy, scary and amazing.

Deadpool 2 | May 2018

Imagine Deadpool forming his own Avengers team – it would be hilarious and so unlike Deadpool for he doesn’t really feel like a team player. But Ryan Reynolds will make it work, we are hopeful and praying hard!

X-Force | Release Date: Unknown

A black ops team of mutants that take a more brutal view of dealing with the enemies as opposed to their more sanguine-trained under Charles Xavier-X-Men, will focus on Deadpool and Cable from Deadpool 2.
