Deadpool without the gore, blood, all those swears would be like a sun without the sky. I know it’s ‘sky without the sun’ but a sun without the sky would be much worse, right? Well, that’s exactly what I want to say.
The Merc with the mouth is infamous for his foul mouth and sarcasm during all the wrong times. Well, however, 20th century Fox brings you an all-new version of the Deadpool which is children and family friendly. Yes! You heard it right. Deadpool is now a PG-13 movie.
A few hours ago, via their YouTube channel, 20th Century Fox released the trailer of ‘ONCE UPON A DEADPOOL’.
While everybody is confused regarding if the movie is a sequel to Deadpool 2? It is not!
Once Upon a Deadpool is just a remixed version of Deadpool 2, told by Ryan Reynolds’ Merc with a Mouth to ‘kidnapped’ actor Fred Savage. In the trailer, we can see Deadpool narrating a PG-13 version of the franchise’s previous movie, Deadpool 2, to actor Fred Savage, whom he kidnapped and tied to the bed.
This is what Reynolds said regarding his intention to do the film, “Fox has been asking for a PG-13 basically since the start in 2006. I’ve said no since 2006. Now, this one time, I said ‘Yes’ on two conditions. First, a portion of the proceeds had to go to charity. Second, I wanted to kidnap Fred Savage. The second condition took some explaining.”
The highlight is that 20th Century Fox would be donating $1 from each ticket sold to “Fudge Cancer.” Which was earlier, “Fuck Cancer,” but changed later as of course, it is a PG-13.
The Red Hooded Mercenary would be raiding the theatres from 12th December.
