Amitabh Bachchan’s look as Khudabaksh in the movie ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ is creating a buzz in the social media within just hours of its motion poster release.

“The biggest thug of all” — that’s what Aamir Khan said while introducing Sr Bachchan aka Khudabaksh via his twitter post.

In the 25-second motion poster, Amitabh Bachchan is dressed as a deadly pirate in his battle uniform and a sword. He appears to be sailing on a ship in a turbulent sea with another ship burning in the backdrop. An eagle glides its way through the masts of the ship and sits on a cannon right in front of Khudabaksh (Amitabh Bachchan).

Thugs of Hindostan is said to be inspired from Philip Meadows Taylor’s 1839 fiction novel Confessions of a Thug. YRF is planning to release the movie on the eve of Diwali this year. Apart from Amitabh Bachchan, the movie would be featuring Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Sheikh.

While Aditya Chopra is the producer of the film, it is written and directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya. As per the reports, the budget of the movie is ₹3 billion, making it the most expensive movie produced (along with Tiger Zinda Hai) under the YRF banner.
