Anurag Kashyap is back with another movie, Manmarziyaan.

For the Bollywood lovers, prepare yourselves for a “Complicated Love Story”. No, it’s not “Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna 2”. It’s just another Love Triangle which they might claim to be different just because it comes from the makers of Gangs of Wasseypur 2 and Dev.D.

So, Manmarziyaan says – “Love isn’t complicated, people are”.

From what can be understood from the trailer, it narrates a triangular love story between Vicky (Vicky Kaushal), Rumi (Tapsee Pannu) and Robbie (Abhishek Bachchan). Vicky and Rumi are in a relationship (it’s apparent from the very first scene where the duo can be seen lip-locking). However, Vicky isn’t ready to settle down and marry Rumi. That’s when Rumi decides to marry the first guy she meets. Who turns out to be Robbie (Abhishek Bachchan).

So Manmarziyaan is basically a struggling love story where the girl is in a dilemma regarding whom to choose (very new and fresh content, right?).

The film also marks Jr. Bachchan’s comeback into the industry after 2 years (Gotta appreciate Anurag Kashyap’s gamble).

Well, jokes apart, Vicky Kaushal never fails to impress us with his acting skills. So does Tapsee Pannu who is a great actress with her own set of strengths in the industry. Jr. Bachchan, on the other hand, looks fresh and good with his role.

In short, Manmarziyaan has a fresh look with old and over-used typical content. But the portrayal of the same idea looks new and that’s exactly why it got a fair reception amidst Bollywood lovers.

The movie is set to be released on September 14.
